Arrive in Nairobi, where you will be met by an Esikar Tour & Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or enjoy some free time in Nairobi. Your safari guide will meet you for a briefing about the upcoming Amboseli safari and confirm the next morning’s departure arrangements.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve – Afternoon Game Drive
Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, residence or airport in Nairobi. Meet your professional safari guide and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Travel through the changing landscapes of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley and continue toward the Mara region. Along the way, enjoy views of rural Kenya, local communities and expansive countryside.
Arrive in the Masai Mara area around midday and proceed to your lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch.
After lunch, enter the reserve for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the open grasslands and surrounding areas as your guide searches for the Mara’s abundant wildlife.
Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes and, with some luck, cheetahs and leopards. The Masai Mara is also home to numerous bird species and a variety of other wildlife.
Continue your game drive until late afternoon before returning to your accommodation.
Enjoy dinner and relax at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Morning Game Drive – Nairobi
Wake early for your final game drive in the Masai Mara. The morning is an excellent time for wildlife viewing, with cooler temperatures and many animals becoming active.
Explore different areas of the reserve with your guide, searching for predators and large herds of plains game. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest.
The Masai Mara forms part of the greater Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, and during the annual wildebeest migration, large herds can move through the region. Wildlife sightings and migration locations vary according to the season.
Return to your accommodation for breakfast and check-out.
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing scenery along the way before arriving in Nairobi later in the afternoon.
Your 2-day Masai Mara safari ends in Nairobi, with drop-off at your hotel, residence or airport.
